IL-MO Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Conference

The conference is organized jointly by Southeast Missouri State University and SIU each year in November. It is an excellent opportunity for all level undergratudate students to present their mathematical research projects, to meet with more established mathematicians and to network with their fellow students.

For registration and other information, please visit the ILMO Conference website.

STEM Career Fair

The STEM Career Fair, hosted each fall, provides an opportunity for students in science, technology, engineering, and math disciplines to circulate their resumes, network, and obtain on-campus interviews with prospective employers who are looking for employees with these skill sets. This is a chance to  polish your interview skills, learn industry information, and gather information about companies.

View information for the next job fair at SIU.

Prior to the event, SIU Career Development Center can offer you a variety of experiences to help you present yourself professionally, including resume critiques and interview tips.

St Louis Area Research Symposium

The mission of the Saint Louis Area Undergraduate Research Symposium is to encourage and promote undergraduate research at universities in the Saint Louis area.  We aim to provide a space for  St. Louis area undergraduates interested in research across all disciplines, including the social and physical sciences, biological sciences,  arts, humanities, and engineering to share their projects and accomplishments with their peers in an annual interdisciplinary symposium.  We endeavor to promote excellence in all fields of research by recognizing those undergraduates and faculty mentors who embody the principles of academic rigor, creativity, and insight. The best student presentations are awarded for their excellence in communication and research.  In addition, those faculty members of the participating universities whose contributions best encourage and support undergraduate research are recognized.  In doing so, STLAURS helps stimulate greater interest in independent learning and discovery at the undergraduate level.

Look for abstract and poster guidelines under the 2018 Conference tab.
